Meet The Maker - Shyanne Garcia
I started silversmithing in August 2025 and have been mostly self-taught, learning through a lot of trial and error along the way, with some helpful advice from local silversmiths here in New Mexico. What started as a creative hobby quickly turned into something I really fell in love with. I’m especially drawn to turquoise, sterling silver, and Western-inspired pieces that feel unique and meaningful. Outside of jewelry, I love spending time outdoors, riding horses, hunting, fishing, and snowboarding. Northbound Silver Co. is a reflection of the things I love most - creativity, outdoors, and making pieces by hand that are meant to be worn and enjoyed for years.
